Kipton Art Show stages an event at 75 Wall Street.

Kipton Art Show stages an event at 75 Wall Street.
Founded by Kipton Cronkite in 2002, KiptonART is a private establishment that culls fledgling artists and introduces them to the foremost administrators of the New York art world. On a continual basis, the organization selects a varied group of up-and-coming artists and provides an outlet for them to display their work in exhibition spaces and online. KiptonART is quietly becoming a conduit collectors and gallery operators turn to in search of emerging talent.

On June 8th in the heart of the financial district, KiptonART + New York City Ballet’s Young Patrons Circle will be celebrating young artists, the 5 year anniversary of KiptonART.com and NYC Ballet’s ‘Dance With The Dancers’ June Benefit Kick-Off for the opening “Future Perfect.” The evening will be hosted by Kipton Cronkite, Adelina Wong Ettelson, Sarah Sophie Flicker, Ashleigh Pattee,Amy Sacco, Allison Sarofim and Arden Wohl. DJ Francesco Civetta will be providing music throughout the 2,200 square foot ground floor retail space at 75 Wall Street for the launch of the newest KiptonART “Access” space curated by Stephen Frailey. The exhibition’s theme “Fine Future Perfect” collects a group of young photographers and video artists whose work, while not specifically motivated as a depiction of the future, proposes a template for that which is forthcoming. Their sensibility is buoyant, luminous, and playful, without the weight of place and with shifting identity. Straddling genres of portraiture, still life, fashion; the work together forms a portfolio of clarity, purpose and optimism. Seven artists exhibiting include Bon Duke (2010 KiptonART Rising Winner), Ina Jang, Naho Kubota (2009 KiptonART Rising Winner),Cristian Mendez, Skye Nicolas, Reed + Rader and Richard Williamson. The exhibition opens to the public on June 9thand will be on display through July 31st at KiptonART’s newest pop-up “Access” space at 75 Wall Street (at Water Street) developed by The Hakimian Organization in partnership with Peykar Brothers Realty and Gorjian Properties. The New York Observer’s Webby-award winning daily email Very Short List is very proud to be associated with the Opening Night of “Fine Future Perfect” at 75 Wall Street.
